Hi, I’m Dan.

I’m a travel Photographer & Cinematographer from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

I’ve been creating videos since I was 11, starting as a hobby on YouTube. What began as simple edits gradually turned into a deep passion for filmmaking. At 22, I decided to take it seriously, traveling the world to capture cinematic stories that blend stunning visuals with authentic storytelling. My goal is to highlight the essence of different places and the people I meet, sharing their stories in a way that inspires others to explore.

I focus on grand minimalistic landscapes, typically with a subject, to evoke scale and a feeling of personal journey.

I focus on the art of story telling through color, composition, sound design & people.

This film tells the story of my year. A year I traveled the furthest I ever have. A year where my brother, sister and I experienced a near death experience. A year I met the most kind, loving and inspiring people who taught me invaluable lessons and allowed me to pass these stories on.

My Journey through Egypt

I had the opportunity of spending 80 days in Egypt. As soon as I arrived, I was overwhelmed and wasn't sure on how to tell the story of this country. I took advantage of that to help write the story.

As creators, we gotta roll with it, make snappy content that clicks, and keeps us in the loop. As I capture the world around us, I share it as short-form content on Instagram.
